ConnectFN develops and implements the first Cisco Telepresence-based Community of Interest Network (COIN) created specially for the financial services sector. ConnectFN (CFN) is focused on securely and seamlessly connectings a wide array of Fortune 1,000 corporations, mutual and hedge funds, and investment banks while managing adherence to SEC or internal compliance standards. The CFN Exchange solution provides a fully managed inter- or intra-company service for interoperability of both Cisco Telepresence and later this year traditional videoconferencing systems. ConnectFN is affiliated with NetRoadshow Inc., the worldwide leader in SEC compliant electronic media for the financial services industry.

CFN Directory

The CFN Directory of organizations enables all registered users to view and invite other members to connect via Cisco TelePresence, simplifying the scheduling of intercompany telepresence meetings. In addition, the hosted directory allows registered users to invite non-members to join the ConnectFN community. ConnectFN works with customers to define company-specific business rules, including compliance and visibility.

Our purpose build Directory is name-based, allowing for the set-up of a Telepresence session based upon an individual name and corporate function and affiliation. Rules-based compliance to internal and SEC standards is integrated into the system. Secure PowerPoint presentations or other digital media may be uploaded into the system for viewing during the Telepresence session. Security rules include water-marking and privileges associated with copying or downloading content.

CFN Video Exchange

The CFN Video Exchange provides the only comprehensive COIN interoperability solution for the financial services industry. This allows customers to connect with other Cisco TelePresence systems and, later in 2011, traditional videoconferencing solutions reliably and securely.

CFN Portal

The CFN Portal is an easy-to-use, online scheduling tool that provides room resource management to drive higher telepresence and videoconferencing usage. The CFN Portal is specifically tailored to financial sector requirements, ensuring end-to-end compliance, including embedded customer-defined business rules and SEC requirements. Customized monthly reporting tracks key metrics related to overall telepresence benefits including travel reduction and carbon savings and the performance of the room, such as real-time incident management, trouble management, and change management.

CFN Hosted Telepresence Core

The CFN Hosted Telepresence Core, offered with the CFN Complete Subscription package, provides the most cost efficient and lightweight deployment and service option. Leveraging a hosted Cisco telepresence core, service is provided in the network cloud, eliminating the need for large backroom equipment and costly IT staff. All services are completely redundant with 24X7 access to the CFN Exchange.

ConnectFN Fully Managed Service

ConnectFN Managed Service offering is the single point-of-contact for the financial sector’s telepresence needs and handles every detail of the meeting 24x7, avoiding the need to invest in costly back office support technology.
